In response to community concerns and requests that LVE streets be made safer, a LVE Traffic Calming Committee has been formed. Our principle objective is to design and promote measures that increase traffic safety within LVE.

The Committee has learned that the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Loudoun County Office of Transportation Services (LCOTS) can provide funding for improvements that promote traffic safety at no expense to residents or the to the LVE Home Owners Association. A petition from the residents requesting this assistance is required before funding for traffic safety (they call it “traffic calming”) measures can be initiated.
