Weather Notice, Monday, February 8, 2010 ---
Due to the impassable roads, quantity of snow, and unsafe conditions, AAA will not be running any trucks on Monday. We will be evaluating the conditions on a daily basis and making desicions on service accordingly.
There will be no make-up days. When conditions are deemed safe, we will resume with the regular service day of the week.
Until roads are clear enough for our vehicles, AAA will probably not be servicing PIPESTEMS, ALLEYWAYS, and areas the drivers deem unsafe for the truck and the community. Residents should bring their trash and recycling to accessible areas. Thank you for your patience during this weather event.

According to the LVE Covenants if you have sidewalks adjacent to your home, you are required to clear that sidewalk of snow and ice. With more snow in the forecast over the next few days, the HOA respectfully asks for the residents cooperation on this issue.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to send a friendly reminder to residents that County Code 1022.01 requires residents under certain circumstances must remove snowsidewalks. from |

We ate, we drank, we sang, we gifted and we decorated. It was a wonderful Holiday season, but alas, it has come to an end, and it's time to put away our decorations until next year.
The HOA asks residents to kindly remove all exterior Holiday decorations by the weekend of January 17th, 2009. Seasonal decorations and lights may not remain up year-round and must be removed between holidays. The LVE Architectural Guidelines state that Holiday & Seasonal Lighting and Decorations may not be installed more than 30 days prior to the holiday and must be removed within 3 weekends after the holiday. |

Just a friendly reminder – trash cans and recycling toters should be stored out of sight. So, if you hide them in your bushes where we can still see them they are NOT out of sight. And if you park them on your driveway in plain view they are NOT out of sight. It is a small thing but it goes a long way to keeping the community a nice place to live. Thanks. |

VDOT is now responsible for the maintenance on most of the roads within the single family sections of the community and this includes snow removal. Our developer, Toll Brothers, will have their contractor plow the streets in the single family development still under their control. And your HOA will provide the snow removal service in the Townhomes. Please see the posted map for further information. Read more to see who is going to be plowing your street this year.

The swim team season will be here before you know it and we have some updates. If you are thinking about having your child join our Loudoun Valley Estates Torpedoes Team this year; welcome aboard. We have a fantastic team that is quickly growing and the families are wonderful. |

Not only is it unsafe but parking on the street in the wrong direction (driver side to the curb) is illegal in Loudoun County (see item 10 below), and the State of Virginia. Please take a moment and refresh your memory on the parking laws. |

Fire Hydrants I know everyone is fatigued from digging out, but if you will, please dig out the fire hydrants near your home.
