Here are a couple of fun ways to participate!

Bakers
We are holding a baking contest and this is your opportunity to show off your baking expertise!  Just bring your homemade baked item to
marked area in the clubhouse parking lot and fill out a note card.
Make sure your tasty treat is there by 10:30AM.  Judging will be at 11:00AM.

Bikers
There is an opportunity for EVERYONE to participate in this parade.
If you kids want to be a part of the festivities, have them decorate their bikes and come to the clubhouse between 9am-9:30am.  The bikes will be judged according to age groups and then all of the participants are invited to ride in the parade to show off their handy work!  Encourage your kids to be creative!

Parade
The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. from the Lyndora Park parking lot (County Park, baseball, soccer), then it will travel up Lucketts Bridge Circle to the right eventually circling back to the Clubhouse.  Ashburn Volunteer Fire Department will be joining us with one of thier Fire Trucks so if you kids like sirens come and enjoy. Line the street and join your family and neighbors in cheering on our parade marchers!!!

Reminder: Basketball Hoops
basketball_clipart_hoop_ball.gif Residents we have heard your concerns about all the portable basketball hoops throughout the community of LVE that are anchored with mulch bags, rocks and other ingenious items. We will begin issuing friendly reminders to residents who are currently housing their hoops in this fashion. In most cases it is an easy fix simply fill the base of the hoop with sand or water.
