Loudoun County seeks input through online survey

Dear Ashburn Network Member:

Loudoun County wants to hear about your perceptions of living and working in the community.  As a member of the Ashburn Network list, please take the time to fill out one or both surveys by visiting the Ashburn Community Outreach Project’s webpage at www.loudoun.gov/ashburn-outreach.  Surveys will be collected through the end of August and the results will be released in the fall. Click here

Given that the Ashburn Community is home to many planned neighborhoods, the project is reaching out to the more than 80 Homeowners and Condominium Associations located in the community to ensure broad participation from community residents.    If you are an HOA or Condominium Association leader, please encourage your membership (through your web page, newsletter, listserve, board and committee meetings, and any other means) to fill out a survey.

The surveys are part of a number of public participation activities planned to gather citizen input as part of the Ashburn Community Outreach Project, including interactive public workshops in the fall.  The purpose of the project is to conduct a dialogue with citizens of the Ashburn community in order to identify neighborhood and community-wide priorities and to develop recommended strategies to aid in future planning and programmatic activities.  The project will conclude with a consensus report given to the Board of Supervisors in the first quarter of 2012.  You can stay connected to the project by sending a message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with a request to be added to the Ashburn Network e-mail list.

Questions and comments are always welcome and should be directed to Michael “Miguel” Salinas, Project Manager, Loudoun County Planning Department, at 703-777-0246.

Sincerely,

Michael "Miguel" Salinas
Project Manager, Ashburn Community Outreach Project
