Important Notice from Rosa Lee Carter PTO

After the PTO nomination meeting on March 3, we still do not have any nominations for the position of PTO President. We are a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Virginia and we cannot continue without a President for the 2009-10 school year. If no one steps up as President by April 28, 2009, we will have to make a tough decision to dissolve the PTO. The account will be closed and the money will be disbursed as deemed appropriate. In the future if someone decides to start the organization again, they will have to go through all the effort of incorporating and filing for tax exempt status, which took almost the entire first year to accomplish.
