Fall Seasonal Checklist

As fall approaches a few key steps can ensure your home serves you well through the coming months. Please take time to check these items in your home and attend to any that need maintenance. The following are preventative tips to help you throughout the life of your home. |
The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project
Phase 1, from East Falls Church through Tysons Corner to Wiehle Avenue in Reston, is currently under construction and is expected to open in 2013. The second phase will extend westward into Loudoun County and provide a one-seat, no-transfer ride from Dulles Airport to downtown Washington.
Phase 2 will begin at the Wiehle Avenue Metrorail Station, move westward serving Washington Dulles International Airport and will end near Route 772 in eastern Loudoun County.

Tree Work throughout the Community
![]() |
With the support of the Board of Directors the Open Spaces Committee has contracted with a firm to clear dangerous trees in proximity to the walking paths. The work is in progress and will be completed over the next several weeks. This work is part of the OSC's plan to save our trees many of which are in distress for one reason or another. As funding permits work will be done in all of our tree save areas to remove/chip the fallen material, trim, de-vine and plant new trees to ensure we have trees for years to come. The OSC has done a great job at getting the survey done, and the plans are in place to ensure this community has trees for many years to come. |
